Q.

Who  are some of your favorite comics?

A.

Bill Cosby, Ellen DeGeneres, Robert Townsend, Louis C.K., Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock. Also Chappelle, Bill Burr, Ted Alexandro... I could do this all day.

Q.

How did you get into comedy?

A.

Well, I first got interested in stand-up while I was in high school. But by the time I graduated college I still hadn't tried it. Then one day a good friend said, "What are you afraid of? Why don't you just try it?" And I just did.

Q.

I think you're really pretty.

A.

That's actually not a question but THANKS A LOT!!!

Q.

How old were you when you got that Jheri Curl and why did your parents hate you so much?

A.

Q.

What's one of your favorite comedy-related moments?

A.

OK, a few years ago I was opening for Louis CK at the DC Improv and while I was on stage, Chris Rock sneaks into the green room to hang out with Louis. So when I walk back into the green room, he's just sitting there. I thought I had gone crazy. He said he watched my set and he liked my stuff (I don't know if he did, but either way it was very nice of him to say). I didn't want to bother him so we didn't talk much, but we took this photo and I'll never forget it!

Q.

What's your favorite movie? I bet it's something really funny.

A.

Dirty Dancing. That Patrick Swayze is a hoot.
