About Erin

You’re Welcome… is a collection of musings written by Washington, D.C. based stand-up comedian Erin Jackson.

About Erin:
Armed with a megawatt smile and a pocket full of dreams, Erin Jackson is poised to conquer the world of stand-up. In fact, she’d probably be well on her way to superstardom by now if her friends and family hadn’t spent so many years stealing her joy.

Since first making a name for herself at colleges and east coast comedy clubs, Erin’s warm, conversational style and relatable humor have helped to propel her onto the national stage. She has performed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, and she was a semifinalist on season 6 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. She was a featured writer and performer for TBS‘s Bitcom Series, and has worked for both HBO and BET as a warm-up act for live comedy and awards specials. Erin recently starred in her very own IFC Comedy Moment Moment, and will appear on the upcoming season of Byron Allen’s Comedy.TV. She is currently touring the country as part of Mills Entertainment’s Pumps & Punchlines national theatre tour..

Erin is currently peddling her comedic wares at venues all around the country, and while she’s in no rush to achieve celebrity status, she is looking forward to the day when she becomes famous enough to move to Hollywood, buy a mansion and marry a White woman — the ultimate symbol of success for Black celebrities.

You were wonderful and really funny tonight at Livonia Michigan Comedy Club. My husband and I had such a great time.
    Thank you so much.

“The ultimate symbol of success for Black celebrities.” If that isn’t government official, I don’t know what is. LOL
